Friendly staffIt had a smell to me at the entrance but I was invited by someone therefore I was stuck to continue, once in the restaurant everything was good. My taco salad had just a pinch of salt too much but to be fair I don't use much salt. They made sure even the children felt welcome. You get enough for your money. There was 14 people eating and everyone was satisfied

Alliyah was the best server ive had here. She even brought us some of their new chicken rolls to try. they were AMAZINGGGG. easily the best appetizer on the menu. Also had their street tacos which are great too!!

love this place, service is great and fast and the drinks are amazing!! i would recommend this place if you’re looking for a cool place to drink with your friends.

I love this place. Chips & salsa are amazing. The pollo a la crema is one of its own, & you can’t find it as good anywhere else. The salad that comes with any dish is always fresh!

Happy Hour Margaritas are only 13.99 and has a lot of tequila!!! My favorite place to come and drink!!

El jalapeño is literally the best mexican restaurant in statesboro! KP & Alliyah are the best waiters & Brandon is one of the best bartenders! They are also cheap too & the food is sooooo good! Definitely try the chicken rolls & street tacos!

Due to the ongoing situation they close an hour early. I placed my order and wouldn’t arrive until 10 minutes after closing. They did not turn me away. I didn’t realize my mistake until after I arrived and they were more than happy to serve me. Did I mention the food is AWESOME!!!! Highly recommend!

This restaurant has such a good place to drink and eat! The staff is so friendly and welcoming!! I recommend Brandon as your server! He’s the best & his service is 10/10! I recommend El Jalapeno to anyone! Me and my friends come here all the time and it’s family friendly.

One of the best years of my life was spent going to this place and getting margaritas. El Salapeno, as we drunkenly called it. Margs are 12/10 and so is the food!!!

Enjoyed the hospitality, food & friendly customer service. The food was served hot and very large portions. They also serve alcoholic beverages, as well as other beverages. The prices was reasonably low. They offer student, senior and military discounts. We will definitely return.

I just love Raul! He was so attentive, efficient, social and super fun! He helped me celebrate my 40th birthday and I could not have asked for a better waiter! Because of him, I'll be back! His energy is bar none and I'll ask for him every time I come!!!

My favorite go to restaurant, love the food, BEST Mexican in town. Luis Gomez is so sweet & he is always so welcoming. Every time I'm there he comes to my table to thank me for coming. Always such a pleasant experience.
